Ride Reviews
Paramount's Great America

Drop Zone Stunt Tower.
This Intamin built free fall tower stands 224 feet in the air. It is alot of fun but not as extreme as most S&S Turbo Drop's or other Intamin towers like Pitt Fall at Kennywood.

Greased Lightnin'
This Schwarzkopf shuttle looper starts out really well but once you are about to re-enter the station backwards, a bunch of brakes kick in and you only go up the second tower about a quarter of the way. Montezooma's Revenge in Knott's Berry Farm is much better, but this is still a great ride.

Grizzly
This is one of the worst coasters I have ever been on. I hate to put down a wooden coaster but this ride seriously needs some major repair. When I rode the back seat, I looked behind the train and noticed that about every 15 feet there was a slice of track about an inch long missing. This caused the train to klunk over and over again. The ride itself doesn't have any great positive or negative g-forces and it is basically just boring. They really need to perform some work on this one.

Invertigo
This was my first ride on a Vekoma suspended looping boomerang and it sure was a blast. Looking at each others faces really gave this ride a great experience. Overall it isn't too rough, but still isn't close to a B&M design. My only complaint is its extremely low capacity.

Stealth
I'm not sure if this is even a roller coaster, becuase you really don't notice the tracks too much when you're on this ride. If this doesn't make you think your flying... nothing will. I ended up waiting 3 hours for this ride because one of the trains was broken, but that 3 hours was well worth the wait. I really don't know how to describe this ride because there really isn't anything out there to compare it too. I actually think that this coaster would be better if they just flipped you around at the top and just had you swoop around rather than having loops and corkscrews in the design, but I'm sure we'll see major improvments to this amazing concept in the very near future.

Taxi Jam
This is a small kiddie coaster for the kids.

Top Gun
I was amazed at how cool this coaster actually was. From the looks of it, it seems like a tame version of Batman: The Ride when it is actually quite intense and very smooth. Even though it only contains 3 inversions, don't think it isn't thrilling.

Vortex
This very early B&M standup coaster packs quite a punch in the very compact space its located in. Its a little rougher than most B&M coasters but other than that its alot of fun.
