New For 2000
Medusa

One year after Six Flags Great Adventure got the world's floorless coaster, Six Flags decided to add a little more excitement to the ride, keep the same name, and place it on the west coast. Six Flags Marine World is home to this version, but they're lucky because 4th and 5th inversions are unlike any other in the world. "Sea Serpent" is somewhat like a B&M cobra roll except when you fly out of the first inversion you still keep turning the same way instead of changing directions (I really don't know how to explain this very well but it is kind of like the first to inversions on any Vekoma SLC coaster out there). This coaster also has a airtime producing 150 foot tall drop, 7 inverions, 4,000 feet of track, and a pricetag of $15,000,000. Expect to see a review and pictures of this coaster in July.
